Gemma'spassion for Millinery stemmed from her Degree at LoughboroughUniversity where she studied a BA Hons, in 3D Design inJewellery and Silversmithing. However it was not until her third and final yearthat she began looking at headwear design.
Her final collection was chosen to be exhibited at the New Designers Exhibition2004 in London where one of her pieces was then selected and photographedby Bruce Weber for a New York fashion magazine. It was her final collection that alsogained her work experience with Stephen Jones Millinery where she fell in lovewith the Industry.
Since then Gemma has gone on to work for the likes of the highly profiledMilliner Philip Treacy, as well as for Edwina Ibbotson Millinery and BaileyTomlin.
Gemma has also studied Millinery at the Kensington and ChelseaCollege in London which then gained her a position as a Millinery Designerfor an accessories company supplying to the High Street.
