GHM 1 2 1 Taster Millinery Session
1-1 or a small group
Taster sessions are a great way to get you started in millinery as it will give you an insight into the fundamental skills and technique's required for making a simple cocktail hat. On the 2 day course, which can be split over mornings/afternoons/evenings etc for more convenience you will learn basic blocking skills and techniques including a variety of sewing stitches to complete your chosen cocktail style. All materials are included as well as light refreshments throughout.
Once purchased you will be contacted to arrange commencement and discuss further course details. The course does not have to be completed in 2 consecutive days.

GHM 5 Day Millinery Course
During this course you will learn the true art of millinery, as it will not only cover the basic fundamental skills but it will also cover more in-depth skills required to complete a finished hat with both crown and brim. You will learn how to block, wire and trim your creation. All materials are included and light refreshments will be provided throughout the course. No previous millinery is necessary.

GHM Trimming Course
The trimmings course covers the main materials used for trimmings in millinery such as;

In the course you will learn how to make loop, bows, flowers and sculptural trims in each of the disciplines.
The course is over 2.5 days but can be flexible.All materials are covered in the cost of the course as well as light refreshments throughout the day.
No previous millinery experience required.

GHM Feather Course
The feather course covers in depth knowledge on the vast feathers used in millinery, including how to handle, care and manage them as well as the following;
Cutting techniques Quill curling How to make a feather mount How to make a feather flowerHow to dye them
The course is over a duration of 3.5 days which can be flexible. All materials are covered in the cost of the course as well as light refreshments throughout the day.

GHM Fascinator Course
The fascinator course is over a duration of 1.5 days which can be flexible. You will learn how to make a fascinator and how to secure it to a head band and/or a comb. All materials are covered in the cost of the course as well as light refreshments throughout the day.

GHM Head Piece Course
Learn how to make a headpiece from scratch which will include various skills such as block making, wiring and trimming techniques.
