Gemma's passion for Millinery stemmed from her Degree at Loughborough University where she studied a BA Hons, in 3D Design in Jewellery and Silversmithing. However it was not until her third and final year that she began looking at headwear design.

Her final collection was chosen to be exhibited at the New Designers Exhibition 2004 in London where one of her pieces was then selected to be photographed for a New York fashion magazine. It was her final collection also that gained her work experience with Stephen Jones Millinery where she fell in love with the Industry.

Since then Gemma has gone on to work for the likes of the highly profiled Milliner Philip Treacy, as well as for Edwina Ibbotson Millinery and also Bailey Tomlin.

Gemma has also studied Millinery at the Kensington and Chelsea College in London which then gained her a position as a Millinery Designer for an accessories company that supplies to the High Street.
